Environmental Awareness Week

The Kuntaur Area Council is thrilled to host Environmental Awareness Week, a series of events dedicated to educating and engaging our community on critical environmental issues. Throughout the week, we will feature a variety of activities designed to promote sustainable living and environmental stewardship.

Highlights of the week include workshops on topics such as recycling, composting, and water conservation. Experts will lead these sessions, providing practical tips and hands-on demonstrations to help attendees adopt more eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. In addition, we will have special seminars on the impacts of climate change and how our community can contribute to global efforts to mitigate its effects.

For families and children, there will be nature walks, tree planting activities, and environmental-themed games designed to foster a love for nature and an understanding of the importance of preserving our natural resources. Local schools are also invited to participate in a poster contest, where students can showcase their creative ideas for protecting the environment.
